MCK Note: Rashi quoting the sages of the Talmud clarifies the understanding that G-d's instruction to Hosea to take an practicing prostitute as a wife is a prophetic analogy of how G-d is about to define his relationship with Israel, that he will turn her "replacement theology" back upon her, for the sake of her correction.
